Ikorẽ

Ikorẽ is a publishing house and cultural production company formally established in 2001 with the aim of protecting, researching, creating, enhancing and disseminating arts and knowledge for a more beautiful and harmonious, fairer and more diverse world.

Having worked many years with traditional peoples in Brazil and other countries, the Ikorẽ team’s main focus is on projects, partnerships and activities aimed at strengthening and disseminating indigenous knowledge and cultures.

Our mission is to establish dialogues and cultural exchanges with the leaders of indigenous and traditional communities; to develop projects and products that strengthen identities and rights; to value territories, material and immaterial heritage; to promote partnerships and new paths for traditional peoples, combining innovation, aesthetic refinement, technical quality and content.

Ikorẽ has been working on projects in partnership with indigenous organizations, institutions, individuals and companies in different areas.  Since 2000, she has been the guardian of the collection gathered here and person responsible for the project that ensured its organization and dissemination.
